Transactions are the periodic exchanges between two or more parties in a Relationship.
Although it sounds a bit cold, a relationship could really be described as "a mutually created market for potential transactions".
Transactions are mutually beneficial - and sometimes necessary for the survival - of one or more parties in a relationship.
