Single Factor Analysis

We often don't realize we're doing it.  It can keep us from finding a worthwhile answer, let alone the optimal solution.
And avoiding it should be a priority.

It's Single Factor Analysis or "SFA".  SFA often seems to provide a quick answer, but it may be the most common limitation in quality decision making, especially since we often don't recognize it's affecting our planning, and we can still think we're choosing a good solution, only to create more "opportunities" down the road.
